The rooms at Haute Haus are fantastic! They have air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the heat. The beds were super comfy, and the rooms had a cozy vibe. We loved having a safety deposit box to keep our valuables safe. we felt like we were staying in a home away from home.

Misleading Bed Size

The staff at this charming bed and breakfast were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our New Year's stay memorable. the house itself was gorgeous, with spacious and well-decorated rooms. the breakfast provided was plentiful and delicious. the location of the property was ideal, offering a peaceful and idyllic setting with beautiful lake views. One of the highlights was watching the family of monkeys and various birds that live on the property. a fantastic place to relax and unwind.

One downside of the property was the noise from the busy traffic nearby, which could be a bit distracting at times. However, this is a common issue in the area and not something that can be easily avoided if you want to stay close to town.

I was really excited to visit the Dunes of Joaquina during my trip to Florianopolis, and I chose Haute Haus - Guest House solely because of its convenient location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the smoke-free guesthouse's concierge services and library. The complimentary buffet breakfast served daily at 7:30 AM was a great start to my day, allowing me to fuel up before exploring the beautiful landmarks nearby.

The room with the king-size bed at Haute Haus - Guest House did not actually have a king-size bed but two twins pushed together. Despite informing the property beforehand, they failed to arrange a proper king-size bed as advertised.
